What is happening? Are you getting a message on the radio, like "Acquiring Signal" or "Antenna not detected"? Does your antenna have a clear view of the sky?

Ok, so stupid question first... is the volume up on both the unit and the stereo?

Normally, if you're not receiving sound, it could mean one of two things:
(Taken from Sirius.com product manual)

1. The vehicle antenna is not connected to radio. Check vehicle antenna cable to be sure it is connected.

2. The audio cables are not connected, or the FM radio is set to the
wrong frequency. Check the audio cables at the Receiver and the
vehicle radio. Tune the vehicle FM radio to the same FM frequency
the Receiver is tuned.

Hope this helps!

I have to ask this:
You're not expecting sound to come out of the Sirius tunner, right? You do realize that it needs to be used with an FM radio/stereo tuned to the same frequency, or otherwise wired to a sound system. The unit itself does not produce sound.

If you already knew this, then make sure the FM transmitter is turned on (using the menu) and that the tuner is close to an FM radio (like, within a couple of feet)s

there must be something super simple that you are overlooking: both radios arent on seems like the best bet
