Question DELPHI SIgnal Repeater for XM - Can It Be Used for SIRIUS?

FYI: I know nnother poster has asked about the Stiletto, but I am inquiring for the SIRIUS Sportster Replay (Version 2).

I got my parents a SIRIUS Sportster Replay (Version 2) for Christmas. However, they live in a VERY remote area where there are no ground-level SIRIUS signal repeaters. With the surrounding trees, it is difficult to consistently get a clear, in-window signal for their home unit.

As DELPHI makes a ground-level, home-based, signal repeater for XM, and many on this site have cited how XM antennas can be used to receive SIRIUS satellite signals, does anyone know if the DELPHI signal repeater can be used (specifically) for SIRIUS Sportster Replay ?

(As of this time, I am not aware of any 'name brand' ground-level repeater exclusively intended for use with SIRIUS.)

Needless to say, I don't want to invest $100+ on one to learn "The Hard Way" that is not truly compatible.

Thanks.

I think some people have tried this with some success. It has not worked for everybody.

Do a search and you will find more info.

Any luck with this as I would rather us the repeater than wire the whole house also . The repeater is probably the only component I had not bought for my MYFI before I made the switch to SIRIUS .

Great , I`ll work with what I have until then . I am sure the outdoor antenna I am waiting for will be able to be used with the repeater later .
