Default Is it possible to turn the display on it's side??

After much deliberation I find the best installation solution is under the in dash radio on it's side for my s50. Can I rotate the display sideways so it is not sideways? I will post a picture of what I mean in a few minutes.

Thanks.

The wires will be installed from behind the dash but you get the idea.

Your not gonna want to mount the S50 sideways. It will never stay in the dock that way. And no you cant flip the display, its not square, so if you can hack into it and do it somehow it would be distorted anyway.

You could get this mount. Then the s50 would be right side up and higher so you can see the display better.

There are many posts in the Stiletto forum about ProClip mounts. I have one and it's great.

I had it in the center & then driver side vent. Liked the viewing position, hated losing the airflow. I am ok with the location and can live with it's display being on it's side if I have to.

Thanks

I had my s50 mounted horizontal but flat for a year in my windstar.

I just receintly re-installed it in my wife's Sebring vertically.

It works must better in this position. It used to jiggle out and get loose in the horizontal postion everytime I hit a big bump.

The pocket it is in in my Land Cruiser is a cd holder, the vent clip is stuck in there and holds it it is firmly in place and does not move at all.
