Default S50 No signal error at office - HELP

I have spent hours on the phone with Sirius but cannot get an answer and am hoping someone can help me. I just purchased an S50..I have had XM for two years with no issues but my sports program switched to Sirius so I switched.

I have no issues driving with the car kit - my issue is using the home kit in my office. I work in a large office building and the closest windows to me face south and east (website indicates I need to be north and west for reception) I can get 75% terrestrial and 0 satellite I have moved the antenna EVERYWHERE (annoying my cube neighbors beyond belief but cannot get a signal. I mostly see No Signal and a few places I see Acquiring Signal that is replaced with No Signal.

What are my options for listening to live programming or am I just beating my head into a wall? Thank you for your help

Listen online if you can. Sounds like you might have to find a new job.

We do not have any repeaters around here and I can get one bar in my building, it's a 17 story bank but it's so far away from my desk it's pointless. I would just keep walking around and trying to find a signal. I've heard of people putting the antenna in a pie pan, it has worked for some I've read. You might need to upgrade to the Stiletto if your office has wireless, that way you can listen live. I hope someone can give you some more ideas. If you can, listen online.

Welcome to SBS, search the S50 forum for some more ideas, http://www.siriusbackstage.com/forum...splay.php?f=37

I guess I will be going back to XM. The content I want is not on the internet and my company does not have WiFi so I guess I am SOL...it just sucks - I never even thought of worrying about reception since I have not had a problem with XM.

Guess it is lucky I kept the boxes it came in!

If you age getting 75% terrestrial then it sounds like a problem with your home dock. 75% is decent reception.

75% from a repeater should be more than enough. What city are you in?

Igforbes has a good point, sounds like a bad dock.
