Default receivers for the visually impaired

I have a friend who is blind. He has been talking about getting satellite radio, but since he cannot see, he would have trouble reading the song and artist and other information. Does any one know if there are any receivers that would voice the channel and other information that comes across the screen?

I have the S50 and all the channels have a voice tags.

But, not for the song and artist info.

He would at least know the channel.

I'm fairly sure the new Stiletto has this feature also.

The djs name most of the songs when they play so I dont think that would be to big a problem.

Blazer is correct, the Stiletto does have voice tags.

I just modified the Now Playing page at DogstarRadio, so now you can go to a URL like:

http://www.dogstarradio.com/now_playing.php?channel=25

And it will very simply say something like "Sleepwalking by The Paybacks is now playing on UndergroundGarage, Sirius 25". I'm sure your friend's web browser does text to speech, so this will work when he is listening near his computer.

He just needs to change the channel number in the URL to whatever he is listening to, and reload the page when he wants to hear the song title and artist.

I don't have an XM radio feeding the data to my website, so I can't do that. There are other sites which show the song and artist now playing on XM, one of them could add the feature.
