Default FM Direct Adapter tips for 2005 Cobalt LS?

Do I need to know anything special about installation troubles or tricks before I buy the sirius fm direct adapter for my 2005 cobalt LS? I know that it's going to have to be installed behind the stereo unit, so I'll have to get some front dash panels off first. Will I need any adapters or anything to interface it with my particular (stock) radio unit?

Me again. Adapters ARE needed; the standard sirius FM direct adapter does NOT fit a 2005 Cobalt LS. Now I have to find out exactly what parts are needed

http://www.metraonline.com is a good place to find out if your vehicle will need an FM Adapter or not. Just Enter the Year, Make and Model and then select Antenna Adapters. If it doesn't let you select antenna adapters then you will not need them.

For your Vehicle it will list 2 parts 40-GM10 and 40-GM20. Those two parts are packaged together in a SKU called 40-GM30.
