Smile Had dropout issue, check your antenna connection!

So I posted on the dropout thread on here because I was quite frustrated. Long story short, I came home and pull my Sirius receiver out from underneath the passenger seat. I could see where the antenna hooks into the unit, I unplugged the antenna and pushed it back in, and "voila" no more dropouts including driving under the Southern California underpasses.

I figured I'd make sure the antenna does not come loose from the receiver again. I placed some electrical tape over the plug and I made sure the tape was long enough to attach to the receiver. It was a simple fix and since I've done this I have had zero dropouts and the system works fantastic.

IMO- I think the plugs on the antennas are too thin to make a good connection with the receiver and that causes them to come loose, causing poor reception.
