Default Starmate Replay ST2 antenna problem

I have had my Starmate Replay for just over 1 year. It has worked perfectly until this morning. It is mounted in my car via the suction cup mount. I have never removed it from the car so the connectors have not been removed (no wear/tear). Halfway to work today, I drive 90 minutes, I get "Antenna Not Connected" and X for signal. The unit still powers up no problem and just shows the error "Antenna not connected". I've seen the X before but that was going thru mountains or under a bridge. I'm dead in the water!

Could my antenna simply have just gone bad after one year? Has my unit failed? There are no cuts or breaks in the antenna cable I can see. Any ideas, tips, etc. or do I simply need to buy a new antenna?

Any help would be great, thanks.
Jason

Default

I got that antenna not detected display once after a long and arduous stereo installation jostled my Sirius equipment around. I pushed the antenna connection as far as I could into the radio until it came back. It did it a few intermittent times, then never saw it again.

Other than the antenna cable not seated tightly in place I'm not sure why else you would get that message.
