Post Starmate 4 acquiring signal

I started having a problem with my Starmate today. This morning it was working fine, then, around lunchtime, I turned it on. It stayed at the acquiring signal stage. I checked the signal indicator and there no bars. I unplugged the antenna and plugged it back in, and it worked again. Then, after work, I got in my truck, turned on the unit, and it stayed at acquiring signal again. This time, unplugging the antenna didn't work. When I got home, I plugged the Starmate into my home dock, thinking, maybe it was a problem with the car dock. It still just stayed at acquiring signal with no signal bars. Has anyone seen this issue before? It was a rainy, cloudy day today, but I still think I should have received something. I've only had the unit since Christmas.

Weather shouldn't be a problem. It might be your unit. Try taking it back where it was bought at.

Good Luck...

If you got it locally, take it back now before your 30 day in store exchange is up. You don't want to exchange with Sirius if you have a local option.
