Default Hardwired Sirius Sportster 4 into 2006 Ford F150

i wanted to know if anybody was able to hook their radio directly up to the car radio via the aux setting. i bought my truck w/ the factory sat option but, purchased the sportster to switch it from car to car. I hooked up the FM modulator and used the factory antenna from the factory reciever but, my sound sucks. Can anybody help?

I have a sportster replay which has a stronger signal than the new recievers, if Im correct. I bought a wired modulator for $20 on the sirius web site. The sound is always great and you dont have to worry about finding another frequency when you go on long trips.

Found this @ Crutchfield. USA Spec doesn't make one for the 06 F-150, so you would have to get the PIE adapter. You will get the best sound possible by hardwiring it like this. make sure you get an RCA-MiniJack when you order this, doubt one comes with the adapter... Good luck
