I just called, All TER transmitters are down.
They said it will be down for the week and to expect service back by 1/27.
She said to call back when service comes on and ask for a refund for the time they could not supply signal.

I am in Center City Phila. She told me "put the antenna on the roof". I am on 3rd floor, building is 50 floors high, I don't have enough wire!

I am in Center City too (33rd floor). Even this high up, my Starmate, which generally gets a full signal and never has any issues, is getting only one bar and occasionally breaks in and out.

Guess we'll have to wait until 1/27 for mor reliable service.

Default Down in King of Prussia

Hello,

I am in King of Prussia, PA, just outside of Philly, and our repeater has been down since October. There are three of us in our office that have Sirius and we are all without service. Our XM friends have no issues and are working just fine. Customer Service says the repeater is down and that they are not sure when it will be back up. Unfortunately, we can not stream music on our network, we are blocked, so we can not listen through the web!

UGH!

I had 88.5 on the radio, but left the sportster on. Sometime around 11:00 Is when I think I noticed it came back on. We have had this problem on and off before in Phila, but it never lasted more then an hour.

And the CRS acts like I am from the moon when I tell them the TER signal is down. They will say either "put your antenna on the roof" or "let me send a reset to your receiver". Hum, if I can't receive the signal how are you going to reset my receiver?

I work in Bryn Mawr, PA, and had an outage this morning. I rely on repeater signal at work because my antenna is inside my office window. My signal returned late this morning so the repeater must be back up now.

If you do a search, I have posted in many threads on this topic.

Angry Audubon NJ: "Acquiring signal" 2+ weeks

I am in Audubon NJ and as much as it pained me, just canceled my subscription. In mid-Dec. I lost my signal for the second time in a year for 2+ weeks. I was about to renew my year subscription for 2007 but couldn't allow myself to do it because I am paying for something that doesn't work!!! I miss it desperately but they need to get their act together. I have already gone through two Sportsers and it's very frustrating.

OK, I''ll post here, and Dropout thread.....what would cause my sirius to just all of a sudden go from full strength, to "antenna not connected"? I was at a stand still at a light, and just lost it. 2nd time today this happened. My equipment is only 3 months old. Can the cold affect it?
