Sure it has the ability, it just has the proprietary connector along the bottom rather than the standard SMB connector like the PNPs. You could always just use the home dock for the Stiletto, although I realize that'd be Yet Another Thing to plug in. With enough volume, a custom connector that attached directly could be used.

Guys, Im really getting excited about this Translight repeater. I just email the guy today with a couple questions. I just wanted to make sure the signal could go thru walls, and it does. He said it can work up to 100m. Also, and this is the best part, you dont need a special reciever antenna. You can just use the regular home antenna you get with your Sirius reciever. That should be especially great news to those with Stilletos.

Im trying to upload the info he sent me but it keeps bombing out. I'll try tonight when I get home. He sent me a 10 page installation guide. I scanned it and made it a pdf. Check back tonight for it.

DAB, if you're out there, help Blitz get the manual available for us. This may be our answer to indoor repeaters.

100 meters!!!!!! hot damn that's plenty of reception power. Is the unit basically something you could just throw on your roof and plug it in to an outlet and then you're good to go or is it more complicated than that? That's the type of repeater I'm looking for vs. one that you need to hookup special antenna's to.

Wow! Not a peep from anyone on here all day. I thought for sure some one would have something to say after they saw the info.

Anyway, incase you're wondering...........You'll probably notice the XM references in the info. I asked him today how to get the Sirius signal. I though maybe there were two different rooftop antennas depending on your service. He responded by saying it will pick up both XM & Sirius signals simultaneously. That should be good news for dual subscribers.

Well, let me know what you think. Maybe we can get a group buy organized soon.

Looks pretty much what I thought it would be . I `ll have to look but I thought someone wrote it wouldn`t be any good for a Stiletto ? It looks like it would work to me . As long as it works with a Stiletto I`m still willing to buy one for the right price .

Preliminarily this certainly looks good, but I do have my concerns. First of all since it requires that you mount this at the highest point possible so that folks walking around don't interfere with the signal. This I think would mean for most of us mounting it a ceiling level or maybe even in the attic. Now the signal has to travel through the ceiling, so what can of reduction in signal is that going to cause. What if you have a two story home and you put it upstairs, how would reception be on the first floor. Just based on some of the things that are said I can only assume that if people walking around can distrupt the signal that ceilings and walls would most certainly do it.

$200 is a decent price and I wouldn't mind getting one, but what sort of guarantee will they offer in regards to working. If 5 or 10 of us got together would he accept 10 separate orders and more specifically credit card payments and ship to 10 seperate locations?

Installation certainly looks easy enough. Anyone else have any concerns?
