Default use alternative antenna?

I just bought a pickup that has an XM roof mount antenna. Is ther any way to use this antenna with a Sirius box? I might want to hold out for the "merger" but who knows........

Post Give it a try

I was a dual subscriber for a year or so. It worked fine for me, but I'm sure it depends on the type of antenna. My old XM Roady used the exact same antenna as my new at the time Sirius JVC Receiver. I used the XM antenna on the Sirius receiver with no problems. I seem to remember that for a short time there was a different connection for either XM or Sirius. Kinda like an early and late style. but that was a long time ago and I cant remember the details. Give it a try.
