Yes, the iTrip is very cool. I bet it would work with the Kenwood plug-n-play, since it uses the same stereo mini jack. Or even one of these...

I agree, I'd love to see an integrated portable satellite radio, similar to an iPod. Make sure it has an internal FM transmitter that way you can just plug it in to the cigarette lighter and stick the magnetic antenna on the roof or dash.

I've been using the IRock for a couple of months now. I sometimes use a van when I go to area clinics in my region. I didn't like not having Sat Radio, so I switch between my XM Skifi and the SIRIUS Jensen SSR2000 setup. It transmits the FM signal to the factory radio, which is GREAT, cause I would never be allowed to do anything to that Radio since it doesn't belong to me. I have also used it in the office and everyone around me would have their radio's tuned in. The discussion at lunch would be what channel or stream we gunna listen to this afternoon. LOL

I just wanted to correct myself from an earlier post where I showed you all a picture of the H2A with the remote next to it. This is what the remote will look like.. DABster, if you could change the graphic on your "web site" as well I would appreciate it. Thanks again for your support!

Finally, a few more gifts for you all

Kenwood Here 2 Anywhere, as it will look when you receive yours in the box.

Kenwood Here 2 Anywhere, in the car!

Thanks Pete for the photos. Gives us a good perspective of how big it is. It's alot smaller than I thought.

Jeff, I read the following from the Kenwood USA web site, so I was wondering about the size. Smaller than the old Sony P&P for sure.

"Small enough to fit into your pocket, just pop Here2Anywhere out of its cradle and take it with you."

I have to admit the excitment is building! GEEZ!!!!

There's just one thing missing from those home, office, and car pictures...DUST!!! Where's the dust??? I don't think those pictures accurately represent what the H2A will look like in my home, office, and car.

Hey LoungeLizard, well maybe right after your dust or clean! LOL Gosh, where I live the dust is horrible. I just cleaned my computer here at the house and what I found inside the case was pretty bad. So, lets say that's what it would look like in some cars, homes and offices. I do have a cleaning lady at my office, but she only dust about once a month. Maybe we could get Ryan our in-house graphics guy to speckle a little dust on those pictures. **grin**

I wonder if Kenwood will offer an optional FM-modulator. Of course not everyone is going to have RCA inputs or a cassette player.

Crutchfield is currently suggesting a JVC FM modulator in the "Recommended Accessories" box on the right side of the Kenwood H2C (car kit) page:

Default 12 Volt or 6 Volt

Just wondering if the cigarette adapter is 6 volt or 12 volt. My friend got his new Sony, cut the adapter off, wired it directly to the 12Volt system and fried his brand new Sony.

Since no one has one yet, I don't think anyone knows if its 6 volts or 12 volts. But I would bet its probably 6 volts and the cig adapter steps it down from 12. There were many people that did that with the Sony as well as the Delphi. Its too easy to just get a female cig plug and find some power for it under the dash some place and then go ahead and use the cig plugin, under the dash, so that it looks hard wired.

This will be something that folk that made the current patch of SIRIUS tuners into portable units will have to be careful of. Because you probably won't be able to cut the cig plug off and just wire it in directly, on these new P & P Tuners, unless you get some sort of setup to drop the volts down. But then hard wiring it does take away from being able to move the kit from one vehicle to another. You'd then have to buy a kit for each vehicle, then the tuner can just be moved into whichever vehicle you planned to use it in without having to worry about wires at all.

Default grrrr

That car kit has a MAGNETIC smaller antenna...

....which is 100% useless for me because on my other car, my hood, top and trunk are all aluminum

...no way will I stick that think on the door or other side panels (the only non-aluminum panels) ....

I love that smaller antenna BUT not the fact that it is magnetic and I'm not so sure I'm going to be to fond of that cassette adapter.... how will the sound quality be?
