Thanks for giving us the 411, as usual DAB! You are a "Sirius God".

From the Sirius PR release:

Audiovox S.R.S. Satellite Radio Shuttle(TM)

The S.R.S. Satellite Radio Shuttle is a transportable unit designed for total flexibility that allows you to experience SIRIUS in almost every environment. The unit has two features that are the first ever for satellite radio. First, the SIR-CK1 Car Kit features an FM transmitter with four frequency adjustments incorporated into the docking station for a wireless connection to virtually any vehicle radio. Also, the SIR-PNP1 Receiver unit is the first ever satellite radio system built with a feature called S-Seek. The first-of-its-kind feature allows a listener to capture up to 10 favorite songs in the unit, which can continually search the incoming SIRIUS streams and prompt the listener when one of these songs is playing. With the touch of a button, the unit can be tuned to that stream, allowing the listener to hear his or her favorite songs anywhere, all the time. The S.R.S. has a MSRP of $99.95. The Car Dock and Home Dock kits will retail for $69.99 - $89.99.

"Audiovox is extremely excited about the introduction of the Satellite Radio Shuttle," said Pat Lavelle, president of Audiovox Electronics Corporation. "With the capability for the listener to take the Shuttle from car to car or car to home, the opportunity to enjoy Sirius in any location has great appeal."

Very cool! Thanks DAB!

Two things I didn't know before...

There is a signal meter on screen constantly, like the SKYFi!
The screen is also blue, not greyish like previous pictures.

Anybody know the dimensions for it? gotta measure for where I want it in my car.

I like the Sirius Blue! I'd love to say which one I'm getting, but I'm still trying to find SOMEONE who has a working demo of the H2A. I've been to 7 stores(BB/CC/Tweeter Plymouth Meeting/Montgomeryville; Tweeter K of P) and they all either don't have a display up yet, won't have one up, or have it up but the antenna isn't working. Anybody know someone in the Philly area with a working demo?

No release date that I could find and I also couldn't find the dimensions for it either. I was curious as to how much thicker it is than the Skifi, since that is what its being compared too. Some pictures have it looking thinner, some thicker. The screen sure looks nice on it.

I don't know if anyone else has this problem but.... Now with all the talk about the audiovox unit I am beginning to feel I want that now. 2 months ago I heard about the SkyFi, had to have it. Next the boombox, had to have it. The here2anywhere sounded cool, so sub to Sirius and bought the h2a. Now another cool receiver... When will this ever end for me.

Blink though I am overall happy with the H2A, I have too been looking hard at the Audiovox. I really like the display on the Audiovox a bit better than the H2A, but feature wise they are about the same with the exception of the song seek feature and wireless car cradle. I know many are probably contemplating there 30 day return policy and possibly debating on rather to wait and check out the Audiovox before settling on one or the other.

This is the one I want!! Just as I liked the Skyfi unit way better than the Sony PnP, I like this one better than the Kenwood, at least the "look" of it. Lets hope it sounds great as it looks!!

The CC guy said they have received literature to familiarize them with the Audiovox PnP, so he guessed it would be in-store "late, late June" or early July. So I'm hoping within the next three weeks, based on what he said. Just in time for the ol' birthday.

I believe that the PR for 100,000+ subs said early July as the release date.
