Default H2A tuner gets quite hot?

Anyone with the Kenwood H2A tuner using a home docking cradle notice that their tuner gets quite hot if you touch the top of the unit? I called Kenwood and they told me that this is normal. I'm just looking for anyone that has an H2A tuner to tell me that theirs gets hot as well! I just picked up the unit over the weekend at Best Buy and I'll bring it back if it's not working properly...it is working fine, I'm just a little concerned about the heat thing! The power supply with the home docking cradle does put out 2 amps, so I guess this little tuner can draw the current, therefore make alot of heat. The top of the tuner is metal to help cool off the unit (I would guess!). Other than the heat issue/non-issue I so far love this unit. It's only for home use as I have the factory navigation/Sirius radio in my 03 Jeep Grand Cherokee (which I installed myself).
