This should put Kenwood's feet to the fire to come out with a version 2. I love competition when I'm the beneficiary

good news from http://www.brixcom.com/brixcom/html/brixlab.html:

Quote:
Launching in mid-October of 2003, the first shipment is completely sold out through pre-selling efforts in the Pana-Pacific and American Wireless distribution channels.
That is definitely a good sign that the truck stops are serious about this product. Hopefully Sirius can get/buy decent shelf space for them.

Wait a second.

Isn't American Wireless the company that did the fulfillment for the F & F deal?

And one more thing, mostly towards Sirius_rich: why, on Streamer-flyer.gif, does it have the name of Sirius' business application company, Applied Media Technology, scrawled on it? Any idea?

I think it has a USB port that allows it to conect to a PC. Also, from what I heard on the pre-view stream yesterday, the planner functions might be more sophisticated for the trucker to use it like a scheduler, timer and alarm clock.

Default Got the Kenwood Here2anywhere

I really like this radio, I have it mounted in my car, had to get a extra tuner to make it work with my stock car radio. But it works great. all I need now is a Sirius Sticker to put on my car, but have no clue where to get one. The Kenwood works great.

I think you might be the first with an streamer installed on this forum

Welcome to Sirius Backstage by the way

Maybe you can be the first to post a working review

Manco, he has the Kenwood H2A, not the Streamer. Matt is the first person with the Streamer installed. Read his subject line.

Its here! Woo Hoo! Its here! My streamer arrived at my door! At least that is what "Brown's" website is telling me. Woo Hoo!

*Cough, cough* Hmmm, I think I am feeling a little ill. I wonder if I should go home sick.

I will post some picks when I get it up and running.

I also ordered the standard car kit and the home kit. This qualifies for the 50.00 rebate.
