Default Pana-Pacific and Sirius Introduce STREAMER PORTABLE

PANA-PACIFIC AND SIRIUS INTRODUCE NEW STREAMER PORTABLE SATELLITE RADIO FOR TRUCKERS

Plug and Play Receiver Can Also be Used in Cars, Boats and Homes

Dallas, TX and New York, September 25, 2003 - Pana-Pacific, a division of the The Brix Group, and SIRIUS (NASDAQ: SIRI), known for delivering the very best in commercial-free music and premium audio entertainment to cars and homes across the country, today announced they will introduce STREAMER by Brix, the newest, most advanced portable SIRIUS Satellite Radio system, at this year's Great American Trucking Show, September 26-28 at The Dallas Convention Center.

STREAMER is the only satellite radio system that was designed, from start to finish, to provide a complete solution for the unique requirements of the commercial truck driver. SIRIUS provides 60 commercial-free music and more than 40 news, sports and entertainment streams of satellite radio coast-to-coast, static-free, and with digital quality. STREAMER connects with existing in-dash radios or home stereo amplifiers to pull in the SIRIUS signal from space.

"The combination of STREAMER and SIRIUS is unbeatable for the professional trucker," said John Trenberth, President of Pana-Pacific. "We are delighted to be partnering with SIRIUS to offer such an exciting product. I believe this product offers many solutions to the commercial vehicle market including the large display and easy to use features that result in greater safety in operation."

"STREAMER is an excellent example of two partners coming together creatively to design an outstanding product for a specialty market," said Thomas Steckbeck, Vice President, Direct and Special Market Sales, for SIRIUS. "We believe that STREAMER will define the satellite radio concept for professional truckers, and we are thrilled to be working with Pana-Pacific on its introduction."

Featuring the satellite radio industry's largest display, STREAMER shows SIRIUS stream name, number, category, artist, song title and time simultaneously. Plus there's no need for drivers to remove their gloves to operate this radio. STREAMER'S large knob and buttons make operation easy under all conditions. Other unique features include a satellite-updated alarm clock with sleep timer, auto shut down and Song Seek, which alerts users when favorite songs are playing on SIRIUS music streams.

STREAMER moves easily from the truck, home, car or boat with available adapter kits. Drivers will appreciate the Professional Vehicle Kit, featuring a quick release mount and wireless FM-transmitter for easy installation and removal without the need for dashboard surgery.

Beginning next month, Pana-Pacific and SIRIUS will be jointly promoting STREAMER and selling complete systems at introductory prices as low as $109 exclusively through participating OEM truck dealers and truck stops.

Pana-Pacific is based in Fresno, California and is a leading supplier to the OEM commercial and off-road vehicle market.

It's okay, but I would like to see one in person. I doubt I'll be adding that PnP to the Sirius lineup. I'm patiently waitng for the JVC.

I like it, but trying to find a home for it in an already cramped passenger compartment will be tough.

What are the demensions... is it even in the ball game with the XM Roady? I don't find it all that ugly from what I can see. But its nothing special either.

It looks pager-sized to me (text-pager size not one of those tiny number-only ones.)

I really like that. I find it funny that it has alarm clock freatures and is the same color as every Alarm Clock I have ever seen. I like the clock that would be really cool to have. It says it updates the time. Now will it find out what time zone you are in via repeaters if your in distance of one?

Looks very cool to me.

I have a feeling before all is said and done, one of these things is going to live in my car, my apartment and replace my Jensen.

I might be wrong.

Wonder where these babies will turn up? Flying J? Pilot? Wal*Mart?

I think it does look good. It seems to have both regular memory AND S>Seek. I like the addition of the time, and if an alarm comes with it, that's GREAT! Tuner knob looks cool.

I definitly do not think these will show up at your local WalMart. Walmart has been strictly XM from the beginning.

Crutchfield would be a place to start. CC might also be a possibility.

Also, Flying J has the "E*Store" on their website so you might mail order there before you make that long trek to you nearest Flying J.
