Just returned from BB (was held late at the office-stopped on my way home) and spoke with the manager of the audio area (so he told me) and was told they DO NOT have the audiovox boombox not even a ship date--he told me to get it at CC (true! )--who still does not have it in stock. I will keep checking but it looks like a bust, the "ones that just arrived" were more PNP units, not the boombox. Sorry, I will keep checking though. Dang and other bad words.....

I'm very sorry if this has been covered already, but I've been looking around and haven't seen anything... Are we expecting the boombox to accept PNP1s and PNP2s? I thought they were just for the PNP2s and thought maybe I should see about taking my pnp1 back... but on this chart it says boombox available for both sometime in Dec... Please help!

Thanks,
Jay

Yes, it will work with both the PNP1 and PNP2.

I don't know how I missed it... You were too quick though, I was JUST about to delete this post because I was just stupid after seeing it was already covered in THIS very thread... Sorry for going over it AGAIN. :-)

Thanks anyhow!

It does look nice. Two things though;

1) Does the input next to the power button say AUX or MIC?

2) Please tell me that the little hole center bottom is NOT the handle.

Ben,
It looks like it says AUX. Secondly I think that might be a "Mega Bass Port" Like the sony boomboxes have. If that's the handle I'm going to crap.

It's gotta be a bass port.

I agree with Josh, looks like bass port, which means the speakers are ported to the front, which will give it good bass. I just don't see a handle, surely it has to have some means of carrying it around.

Ben, that button says mode: Which seems to switch between aux input and headphones, which I assume will also work as an output if you wish to have it connected to your home stereo.

I'm going back tomorrow but not with high hopes. I think it was a line of BS personally but we shall see.

Yeah, I wouldn't hold my breath... but for some reason SIRIUS keeps saying before Christmas. Well time is running out very quickly... Keep us posted. CC/BB is an hour and half away from the rural area that I live.
