Default There go the pre-sets once again!

I don't know about you but it sure is getting kinda irritating to find all the pre-sets empty. Seems to happen about the time they need to update streams. Kinda like when the power goes out in the house and you have to go around and reset all the clocks, actually worse cuz there are so many I took time to sift through listening to them I forget what what all was in there.

Other than that I am still a happy camper with Sirius.

I keep reading about so many people losing their presets. I have never lost them on my PNP2 or the Kenwood I have. I wonder why the discrimination?

In the part of the country where I am from, there are two pertinent wise sayings:

a. Don't borrow trouble...(also known as Knock on Wood) or

b. Don't look gift horseys in the mouth!

Opps, haven't been here in a while- I guess it was about Thursday when it happened to me. So is there a reason we have to have auto clear from space?

Sirius's answer, via customer service, was SERVICE UPGRADES.

um...okay. I guess.

Oh...so now that my PnP has been re-flashed and upgraded it will do more things, I didn't receive the memo to add to my owners manual. I hope the next SERVICE UPGRADE includes a memory re-flash

Looks like i left town before the stuff hit the fan. My jensen always updates and presets never erase. I left town or shut my sirius off after king dude 9pm est thursday before any of this happened. I at least know what i am in for when I turn it back on. Xm had something similar happen with their systema year ago, but it did not effect user presets.

I have lost presets on about 6-7 different occasions. It is usually when my unit updates the streams. about 2-3 of the times i lost all presets. the rest of the time i only lost a few stations. for example i lost talk central this weekend for some reason but my others stayed in tact.

it is kinda getting to the point where i am getting pissed about it. i have only had my pnp2 since november. so this since to be happening every few weeks.
