Default Brix Streamer

Hi Guys !

I trying to Locate a Dealer for the Brix Streamer because I love the Green Display. I Called the Truck dealers ( Volvo, Paccar ), they told me they cannot get it.

The local American Wireless does not want to order it for me

I don't know what to do ?

Ebay had a bunch at good prices. Kenworth, Peterbuilt, Frieghtliner, or Mack truck shops might have them in stock in your area or could get it shipped to them for you.

Hope that helps.

Default Deal from Pana-Pacific for a Streamer

I'm considering the Streamer as Pana Pacific has a Receiver with prof. kit and 1 year service for $169.95 after rebates.

The number on the flyer is 1-866-818-3277. Not sure if you need the subscription, but they may sell you just the receiver.

I can't find much info about the Streamer online. How do you like the unit? What about its features? Have you tried other units and come back to the Streamer? Any insight about the receiver would be appreciated. Thanks.

Have you checked out the Streamer Lite? No news on a release date.

He specifically says he wants the GREEN DISPLAY guys... the Orbiter at Radio Shack is Orange. Only the Brix Streamer has the green display.

I have the Streamer (coming up on a year next week!) and love it. I've taken it out of my car, in favor of a (much smaller) Sportster, but I still use the Streamer nearly every day in a Orbiter boombox.

Default Streamer Questions

I'm considering getting the Streamer package mentioned above (Receiver, Prof. Kit, and 1 year subscription) for $169.95 after rebates and putting the Streamer in my wifes Grand Caravan.

Then I could get a smaller receiver like a PNP3 or Sportster for my Acura 3.2 TL and activate it for the $6.99 rate.

Is this good logic? I'm getting ready to make the leap to the Dawg and just looking at the many possibilities.

That depends on whether you can get [her] to pick-up the $12.95 rate plan

Is the Brix Streamer a gen-1 or gen-2 receiver?

Call it a 2.0G tuner. It uses the same chipset as the PNP2.

Thank you!

So, does anyone think it's worth picking-up this 2G receiver over the other 2G/2.5G receivers?

How good of a price is it at ~$100 after rebate, for the receiver and home docking kit?
