Well I know people really love their Sportsters...and that's cool. At least you're not switching to XM. Anyway, the Calypso has game alerts for almost every major sport. But, you obviously won't be able to put in an ACC team because Sirius covers the SEC. Things like that. But, there are game alerts for NHL, NBA, and NFL, and about half the NCAA depending on your favorite team. The unit has 20 "memo" favorites for songs, 30 presets, nice remote. One comment on the remote, I see quite a few people have complained about it not having volume control. I never had volume control on my Audiovox PNP2 and it was never a problem. Anyway, it has like 130 or whatever presets you can use for FM transmission, good antenna. I also like the overall size. As you can can see from the other post it is quite small. Instead of using the car mount that came with it, I just took some extra strength and put it right on the base itself. It won't swivel which I think the other one does but it is much more secure. Also, it has an easy lock button to keep the receiver in that is much easier than the two locks on my PNP2. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. From a quality standpoint you really would be hard pressed to not go back and get this unit/

Actually if you get the Sporster Replay, you will be gaining the ability to pause/rewind and fast forward up to 44 minutes of programming, much like a TIVO. The Calypso does not have any features that the Sportster Replay doesn't have including all of the game features. The Calypso appears to have a bit better boombox, but having the Sportster Boombox I can tell you that I am very satisified with it and the ability to control the volume from across the room is a big plus in my book. That too was one of the things I considered when I got the Sportster Boombox. I also upgraded the speakers on my Sportster Boombox and that also have given me a lot better SQ.

Good luck with your decision... the main thing is that you get whatever you'll be totally happy with. Remember there is no perfect tuner, but either one of these will be GREAT you just have to find the one that fits your needs best and go for it.
