Default which receiver?

Hey folks, I'm new to sbs, but i've had sirius for more than a year and love it. I've had it built in to my main vehicle and run through the nav system. I also love being able to listen over the computer at work or home. But I'm ready to get a sportster or xact or something for a boombox/ golf cart/ home docking station in addition to the car. I bought the xact boombox with the flip over cd/fm tuner, but took it back because it wouldn't work on batts in sat mode. also, it was a bit bulky for travel and seemed to be kinda clunky to switch in and out of the car docking station, and the speakers had too much bass distortion which was not adjustable. I was going to get the smaller version of xact and boombox from sam's for $129, but found this forum and thought I would ask advice for which one would siut my needs best. I would like easy operation like the sportser tuner dial and easy docking switching with a great sounding boombox. Any ideas.

thanks for your time...

Great to have anoth SC subscriber on the forum.

Gen 3 radios are coming, they are supposed to have a sneak peak at the end of August. Right now the Sportster Replay and Boombox are the hottest ticket.

What kind of car do you have Sirius through the Navigation?

Are you adding the new PNP to another car?

Thanks for responding...I've got a chrysler 300c. If pnp is a the small reciever, then I will let my girlfriend use it some in her car, but mostly in the boombox on the beach or the pool. Sometimes in a car kit on the golf cart through fm modulator and sometimes in the home system. I want a combo of the best sounding but somewhat compact boombox, and easy to move in and out of the cradle. Just looked in the paper today and saw circuit city has $30 rebate on all sirius recievers. That might be the one I get if anyone can tell me if the boombox is any good.

thanks again
