Default Sportster cradle compatible with other units?

Sorry if this seems like a newbie question... I just signed up a couple weeks ago. So far I'm loving it.

Are there any units that are compatible with the Sportster Replay cradle? I have the car and home cradles but take the receiver with me to work. The kids are really enjoying to music so I'd like to pick up a less expensive unit (i.e., Starmate?) they can use. Aside from the original Sportster is there a unit that's compatible?

Thanks in advance,
Bill

The original Sportster is the only other receiver that will fit that cradle.

Have them listen to it online. It's free with your account and you won't have to buy another tuner and pay more a month.

You could put speakers where they'll be in the house and they'll be happy.

Since the Starmate requires no cradle you could use the Sportster antenna and power cord fot it in both the home and the car. The only thing you would be loosing is the little metal stand for the Starmate to stand up on at home.
