Default Sportster Replay Channel Name Change?

All,

First I am sorry if this is a repost but I don’t see anything about this subject here. Also I am sorry if this is the wrong forum for this post.

A couple of weeks ago I replaced my Sportster with a Sportster Replay. I browsed through the channel categories on my way home and everything looked the same. I admit I don’t browse the channels every day but last weekend I noticed no channel names being listed. I would see the channel number and name of the program, artist being played or even an ad for the commercial but no channel name like in the past. It seems names like Hair Nation, CNN, CNBC, Raw Dog were replaced with the artist being played or the name of the program.

I’m not even sure I dislike this but I am wondering if anyone else has seen this. I called Sirius and the rep was clueless. He tried to update my subscription then gave me the number for Sportster support. Later on he told me this is a new feature but I’m sure he was making it up…true or not.

Anyway is anyone seeing this? Perhaps this is a “Feature” on the Sportster Replay? I’m also wondering why it took almost a week to happen if this is a function of the new Sportster.

Default THANKS!

SISO thanks a ton for responding. I went into category mode and pressed it once then it went to song title. A second press of the button brought back the station name.

Do all Sirius units have this option? I actually grew to like it a little after a couple of days and will now probably switch back and forth.

No problem.

Yep, that is a feature on all radios.
