Default Song Seek

I have 2 questions about song seek. I have a jvc -1000 series PNP, somehow I set a song seek by accient, and now everytime that song is played my unit beeps and shows the song to me. I can't get rid of it. Worse yet Is I have saved about 5 other songs as Song Seeks, but my radio never alerts me when they are on. Any ideas?

Last is there a song seek feature for the Online Player?

Thanks

Chris

Check your manual, there is a way to erase songs from the s-seek but i am unfamiliar with that unit. I know there is a way to erase all of them, not sure if you can choose individual songs unles you have used all the slots and you choose to "replace" one. It's probably under the menu somewhere. Just look a little.

Are you sure those songs you arn't being alerted to are being played? Also if you turn on the unit in the middle of a song it usualy won't alert you to it as the data for that is sent at the beginning of the song. You can check if they are being played at [/url]http://www.itsonsirius.com/

Thanks for the information. I don't have my manual anymore. I do know the songs are being played because I will hit them while channel surfing.

Thanks

Chris

If it is at all similar to the PNP2, if you hold the MEMO button, it will enter a list of all the songs in memory. You can then delete, in the PNP2 case, by pressing the rotary button.

Hope this helps some!

This is how it's done on the JVC SR-2000 too, so most likely it will work with yours.

I have the same unit and same problem. It sucks. Every once in a while, like once every month or two I'll turn it on and the S-seeks will be going nuts picking up left and right, but most of the time I get nothing and happen to find the song when I'm surfing. And I leave my unit on for 9+ hrs at a time while I'm at work.
