I'm not the one trash talking, thank U,The Crify fan boys are,I'm just trying To stick up for the s50 for what it is,a GREAT piece of Hardware, not a piece of junk, like all the XM fan boys are trying to say just because it does not have a Live feed, like the Myfi.

It just seems like to me this forum is also being controlled by XM trolls,so if we want to say something good bout something bout what Sirius has,we get blindsided by what XM thinks,For my record,I had SAT Radio since April 24 02,and it was XM not Sirius,I'm not Biased towards either side, but when they took off XMLM,that was the "Shoriest Straw"!!!!!
When Pioneer came out with there Direct Connect,I got it!!!!!!

I still listen to xm on my puter, but Don't get Mad when alot of people Bashes about somethinf good, then when I say something about it,U call it trash talking,Cause it's not.
I been Reading this forum for some time now,and read ALOT WORSE then what I wrote.

So DAB Chill Out!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unless U are a XM troll, then GET OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have to go now my favorite tune "BURN IN HELL" is on Hardattack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aceman21 -- DAB is not an XM Troll -- he is devoted to both services, but IMO leans towards Sirius. I don't think the XM trolls control this board at all. Yes, they are hear, as we are over on their site. There are those who love the Myfi and those who don't; the same will be true of all the equipment. DAB has posted here and over there that he doesn't like the XM Delphi equipment -- many do enjoy their equipment. Big deal. Many enjoy XM, many enjoy Sirius, and many enjoy both. I think the S50 looks great, IF that's the kind of device you want. I would prefer live sat reception. Different choices for different palates.

Default Portable Satellite Radio is not possible... yet.

A lot of new subs are going to want to be able to listen to Stern live while they take public transportation to work. XM is clearly still beating us in technology. I think their portability trumps our color screen.
This thing is awesome. Who cares if you can't receive signal when it's not docked. Have any of you tried the MiFi? It is NOT a completely portable unit. It will NOT work unless you are outside, near a window inside, or lucky enough to have a $10,000 ground repeater near you. You can NOT manage any playlists. The MiFi was a demonstration of portable technology and satellite radio, the S50 is the reality that satellite radio users face and gives you the best of both worlds. I've seen and held a prototype, my order has already been placed. This unit is going to be the beginning of the end of iPods dominance in portable MP3 players, it is not intended to go up against the MiFi, that’s just a bonus side effect. Until every square inch of the country is covered by a repeater signal, we will never truly have a portable satellite radio unit. Period.

Sorry, I just feel the Sirius subscriber was teased too greatly by Xact intentionally or not with this product. I knew something like the s50 was just around the corner - no hindsight here - check my past posts.

ps - I'm not trying to bump the thread - just had to say it!
I still prefer it (Rego) over the S50, mainly because its features work for what I want to do. If both were available right now, I'd buy the ReGo first and then later on buy the S50. Aside from the looks of the S50, I like the fact (based on the picture) that it has an arm band. I cycle and that aspect is great. Personally, I'd rather have live content to listen to as opposed to pre-recorded content. However, I'd buy the S50, but only after the Rego. If the Rego never comes to fruition, I'll strongly consider the S50.

I think --and mind you, I'm just an interested party about to obtain satellite radio (Sirius) -- a good bit of what we are seeing is...people being having been led to believe that Sirius would be coming out with a 'portable' solution, like the MiFI and were let down because it did not come. Add to that the rationalization after the fact that 'live portable reception isn't all that it's cracked up to be anyway', etc...and you just have a lot of fall out being seen. That's a large part of it.

I'm wanting to move to Arizona...lots of open sky, not a lot of trees, a Sirius portable would have been...heaven.

Unless U are a XM troll, then GET OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You got your warning you won't get another one. So I am not the one that needs to chill out. In regards to your XM troll crap, I think my post and history of this forum clearly speak for themselves. You've got 10 post on this forum and are already on thin ice.

This is what you wrote as a reminder. This certainly doesn't sound like someone that isn't bias to me. There are people that will like the S50 and those that won't. Everyone has a right to their opinion without this type post coming back at them.

There is nothing wrong with defending Sirius, but you don't have to slam XM'ers. I think SIRIUS could have done better than the S50 and I am darn sure not an XM fanboy or troll, not that I have to defend myself to you with your 10 post.

Thanks SatRadioRules, I agree with your post 100% the fact is many of us were given hopes as leavenfish said for a portable with live reception, we are entiled to our opinions expressing our disappointment. I have yet to trash the S50 and I won't do that because I can see that there are many like AJBeastro and many others that are excited about this product. Then you got my friend Speedy3, which apparently has decided this product isn't for him and he is going to wait on the Rego.

I love the design of the S50 that nice big colored display is sweet. But I want live reception, but who knows I may decide to get an S50, I am still debating it. We'll see.

I only slam thge XM trolls, when they slam us,that's it.I know what I wrote,it was after the XMers were bashing about how there was no Live stream on the s50,OVER,and OVER again.
If they stop,then I will.

Could you at least start putting spaces after your punctuation (commas, periods) so that it will be easier to read your rants...uh, posts?

It isn't your job to slam anyone on this forum. If you choose to continue you won't be on this forum.

It is one thing to counter ones opinion but your comments were not appropriate and will not be tolerated. We keep our conversation civil on this forum.

Now back to the topic
