There are some things you need to handle via email not on a public forum. I for one don't appreciate you making it look like The Sirius Store had somehow ripped you off, when the facts seem pretty clear now you didn't even accept the free shipping offer.

I for one appreciate The Sirius Store being proactive in refunding the amount Direct reduced the price of the S50. You guys are stand up and its a pleasure to do business with you all.

If you have further discussions on this issue, please take it private via email or private messeging with Taylor.

First of all Lighten up. 2nd of all I am not accussing CMA of "ripping me off", as you stated. 3rd I DID request free shipping. Maybe that is not what I am getting but that is EXACTLY what I requested. 4th I didn't realize until just now that CMA is in your pocket. Beware the person to say or even hint of anything negative towards CMA or they'll get their head bitten off. You can take the liberty and pleasure in deleting my account "moderator". I obviously need to go elsewhere to a less biased source of information. Enjoy!

Actually, if I understand it correctly, the price came down by $41.90 and CMA is now charging us $11.90 for shipping instead of the originally advertised FREE shipping. WTF?
Dear Robdam,

No, that was simply because you didn't choose the Free Shipping Option and wanted a different shipping option. That refund of $11.90 was just for you, since you had misunderstood that part of it, we thought we would refund you even though you had choose UPS over the free shipping option which was USPS. Not a big deal, but obviously if someone were to choose UPS Next Day Air, it wouldn't be free. The UPS option is not free.
My Bad. I understand now.
Great, whew.
No problem. Thanks for taking the time to explain it to me.

Okay so maybe I was a little too blunt, but this isn't the CMA/Sirius Store Help Forum, so the point you clearly missed is that you should handle your business with them directly not publicly on a forum. Thankfully the issue was resolved. I would not have wanted somone to get the impression that you were ripped off, which is what your post sort of indicated with the WTF at the end.

In regards to all that other nonsense you posted, I am not even going to dignify it with a response. Hopefully you'll reconsider, but if you feel you need to leave the forum that is entirely up to you, but we don't delete accounts.

Default How Many GBs In The S50? Can I Hear Live Content Outside?

How Many GBs Can The S50 Hold? (How many GBs of music (from my music library) can I fit in it?)

Can I Hear Live Content When Not Docked?

We THINK 1GB, it's 50 hours though.

No, you can only hear live content while docked.

1GB is misleading. I believe half that can only be filled with Sirius content...so you would only get about 1/2 gig of your music mp3 on the unit.

If you want a unit for just storing MP3's the S50 isn't the choice. It gives you the ability to do both in a single convenient setup. 1 gig or a half a gig there is no device like it on the market and if it will provide up to 50 hours of content that is fantastic. So, it is 1 gig total space and I can't imagine anyone getting this device expecting to store the full capacity in MP3's considering it is a sat tuner. I think there are a lot better options if you want to just store MP3's.

I've been reading that this unit only recieves live content while docked. Does this include the car dock as well as the home dock?

Just the car kit, the home kit is another $100.

I can't confirm this yet, but I think you can also get live reception while its docked in the Executive Docking Station, which for some people may be a better option than a home kit.
