nice budget unit but it seems it would be a little hard to access the buttons on it while driving.

I guess that's why it comes with a remote.

I expect this unit to get really cheap - the current Starmate is going for $49.99 - it debuted with an MSRP of $129.99. That's a big drop - if this unit drops that much they'll fly off the shelves.

I think this design will fit many people's tastes, but doesn't do much for mine. The price is nice though!

I think this radio is for the "free cellphone" crowd - who will pay for the service but want the lowest priced hardware.

This let's the tentative Stern fan into the world of Sirius programming for a low price with a unit that does what it's supposed to with no bells and whistles.

It probably won't appeal to the majority of the crowd here - the guys watching the unveiling of new products on the web are obviously into bells and whistles big time!

Actually it may appeal to some people on SBS - those that are Sirius stockholders.
