Where did you find the mount? I am assuming that you are speaking of the dash mounted kit that is displayed on the packaging but has not been released yet. Correct?
It was a mount that was suggested to me earlier. I may be confused and maybe it was in my install thread. I can't find the link now. I got it at crutchfield. It's just a sticky mount with a plate that the holder that came with the Starmate can attach to.

How long ago was that? Can you return it?

Crutchfield recommended the same thing that I return it but I already wired it in perfect. I would go nuts if I had to take it all out.

50 bucks back is awesome but not worth my sanity lol

Just order another one and exchange all of the new wiring/packaging with the first unit, keep second unit and leave the installed wiring intact.

here are pics of my Starmate install in my 2004 Hyundai Tiburon:

This is a great unit. Much better than the SIR-PNR1 it replaced. The PNR1 was nice for a clean, built-in Sirius install, but it lacked so many features, like a 2 line display, artist/song seek, instant replay, see whats on other channels without switching, signal strength, and more I'm not going to waste my time listening. Maybe it's the placebo effect, maybe it isn't, but the sound quality seems to be so much better than the PNR1. The Starmate is hooked up with a direct RCA connection.

I was wondering how your mounted it in that pocket. I have a similar spot in my vehicle and would like to mount a SR there but I didn't think it would fit. Can you give me any advice?

Your install looks great!

A crapload of hotglue

It's attached to the 2 small parts of the pocket where the holder and pocket touch using hotglue. The lack of surface area makes it kinda difficult. Make sure the glue is completley dry before you do anything else, otherwise, it will pop right off. I had that problem several times until I just let the glue sit and dry. Do the gluing first, then route any wires, ect, and when that's all done, it should be good to go

Thanks for the advice, but I got lucky. When I went to install my Starmate Replay last night I realized that my little compartment must be a little bit bigger than yours. The replay fit in there without a millimeter to spare. I had to almost force it in there and it's not going anywhere

I'll post some pictures when I get home from work, but the install location is perfect. I love this radio (it's my first experiance with satellite radio) and am still a bit overwhelmed with the multitude of programming available.

My only concern with the Replay is the heat that it seems to generate. It gets very warm. While this might be a function of having it stuffed into the sunglass tray, it's pretty toasty after only 30-40 minutes of use. This isn't a huge concern as it is around 50 degrees F outside, but I am concerned with the heat factor when next summer comes and 100+ degree temperatures exist. Hopefully the designers took this into account.

Question: In the Artist/Song seek mode, could you save 20 by song and 10 by artist? Or doest have to be one or the other?

Each time you save you pick rather to save by artist or song. So you get 30 of them to do which ever you prefer.
