No it does not come with one and I think it should have. But in my company van I didn't have any reception issues even without the FM Wired Antenna. But my antenna is on the left front side so its less that a couple of feet from it.

Free shipping was outstanding. I ordered the unit last Friday and it was in my hands on Monday.

Superb service, as well.

Once you switch from song to artist, you can't go back to it being a song search. It removes the song info, and just keeps the artist, so it's a one time thing. Still cool though, to be able to change if you decide you like the artist later.

I installed Brian's starmate last night, and I must say I'm very impressed. It's a great small unit, and I was very surprised how good the sound quality is. Much better than any of mine. I will continue to recommend it to everyone.

did I miss something? Sound like your slaming me. All I was saying was that the new units are better then the older units.

You aren't limited to just 5 frequencies, you can program up to 5 frequencies of your choice for easy access to switch between. Which frequencies is totally up to you.
This is the selling point for me. My JVC can't get any stations that I can listen to in my area. I'd just have to figure out the best way to install it. I can't leave it in my car because it will be gone along with my window.
