If you are talking about the Xact 1 home power cord, it won't work, because Xact 1 is a 6V DC and the Starmate Replay is a 12V DC. Because I know, becasue tried it also! Had to go down to Radio Shack and pick up a 12V DC home power cord.

I think the older Starmate cord should work fine.

It certainly does. That's what I'm using with my Starmate Replay at home.

yeah I'm thinking about buying a older Starmate home kit for my replay since it might be a bit before the replay version comes out on the market. I wonder if its worth the wait? I really need and AC adapter and an Antenna at the moment.

I was just on the CMA website searching for the new Starmate replay Home Kit avalibility date and I noticed they have what looks like the kit in the to buy cart status , well as far as the graphic in the shopping cart looks, but the model number doesn't jive. The model is of the old kit but the picture is of the new Starmate Replay kit. what gives. Is this a tease? I want my new home kit!!!

The new home kit is available. There are two Starmate Home Kits. The Old One ST-H1 and the New One ST-H2.

Default NEW FEATURE FIND!

I discovered another new feature on the Starmate Replay. When you get a Sirius Seek Alert, it will show you either the artist name or the song title depending on how you saved it in the memory. However, if you hit the DISP button it will show you the VARIOUS Info on the Sirius Seek, Artist Name, Song Title and Channel Name and Channel Number it is playing on. This is darn cool

When trying to find a college game, I moved over to the College Football Zone and as I move through the Categories to find it. Low and Behold there was the Sirius Seek List and the artist/songs that it had found were listed. So apparently the Sirius Seek actually becomes a Category when you have an alert. Once again very cool.

Directed/Sirius did a fine Job with the 3.0g Starmate. The more I use it the more I like it. I can't recommend this little tuner enough. It has quickly become one of my favorite PNP's.

Default ONLY PLACE AVAILABLE?

Is the Starmate replay only available through Color Match Antenna? Are any of the major retailers planning on carrying this? Thanks.

Wolf is correct, but its only available in some stores, not all stores have them yet and it is still not available online except through CMA.

Are you saying that the games become a category themselves? One of my frustrations is searching through several categories to find what I want.

If your tuner supports the game zone feature, that is correct. You'll get an NFL Zone, NBA Zone, NHL Zone, College Football, College Basketball, when those games are being played, Category known as ZONE will be created for them. It is always between the Traffic and Pop Category. Once you get into that Sports Zone/Category, you can use the DISP button to see the names of the teams and review current sport scores.

What tuner do you have?

I have the Starmate (new sub just last week). Looks like I may have to upgrade. I had planned to get a Sportster or Sportster IR, but thought I'd try out Sirius with less investment with the Starmate $25 deal. I mostly subscribed for the NBA and NFL, but am liking the music very much, too!

I was just looking online at the Starmate User Guide and apparently it does not support the Game Zone or Game Alert Feature. So being a Sports fan you certainly need to bring that baby back and swap it for one that does.

This is a quick list, but I would recommend the Starmate Replay since its one of the new 3rd generation tuners just released.

Starbase, Starmate Replay, Sportster and Sportster Replay and the Clarion PNP. (these are the ones I can think of all the top of my head there maybe others)

I wonder if my local Radio Shack will do a swap. They're not too swift. I had to explain to the guy how the rebate worked, and he couldn't believe he was letting the Starmate out the door for $50. I don't think they have the Starmate Replay in yet. Probably would get that as I have antennas mounted already so the switch would be hassle free. Thanks for the info. Is there a user guide for the SM Replay online somewhere?
