Default Why aren't Sirius Branded Radio's sold at Walmart??Help!

I don't understand why Walmart doesn't sell Sirius branded radios. Personally, I think the sirius branded radios are the best sellers and best competitors to XM delphi radios. Xact radios are up there but the new Sirius S50, Starmate, Starmate Replay, and Sportster Replay, are the best out there. They look the most fashionable and their a good size and everything. XM's Delphi Radios are sold at Walmart....So why aren't Sirius branded ones. Let's try to get them sold at the biggest retailer in the Nation. Come on Backstagers!

I think Walmart has a price point that they want to be at, while at the same time they want to have a certain margin. Also I think that Sirius might be trying to protect other retailers by them having different radios.

I do wish that Walmart would at least have the PNP3, Sportster, or PNP4.

Ugh, why support crappy big brother anti-small business corporations like Wal-Mart? Buy the receiver you want directly from the Sirius store!

I was at a Walmart this past week in Michigan. They had Sirius receivers, specifically the Audiovox.

Walmart sells radios that will receive Sirius programming. Although they units they sell aren't Sirius branded they are equivalent units. They are selling the Xact branded units. The XTR8CK is basically the same unit as the Starmate Replay.

That allows Walmart to advertised units for less than the minimum advertised price for Sirus branded units. Other retailers with a low price guarantee policy don't have to match the Walmart prices since the units have a different brand name

I don't think you want the Sirius branded recievers in Wal-mart, let them have the XACT and Auidiovox brands. Sirius branded recievers should be sold at electronic stores and on the website.
