Thanks, I was really thinking my S50, which I have been bragging on working so great, had somehow bit the dust. However, since late last night and all day long today reception has been perfect.

I am wondering if this had something to do with them fixing the date that the sats were reporting to the tuners, which is also fixed now.

Default Say it again!

Wow, I am glad I saw this thread!! I thought it was my receiver too. My commute it from 5:30am to 6am in Tampa, FL and it has been really bad, cutting out and searching for signal the whole ride.

In another thread a member reported that CS told him a satellite was down yesterday.

Default hmmmm...

I am certainly glad to see this thread...having just purchased Sirius for the Howard move...and while still being an XM subscriber also...I was very dismayed after doing a home install to find I was having massive dropouts and unending "aquiring signal" messages flashing across my screen...I was thinking I made a very costly mistake....my XM receiver was playing as always without a hint of a dropout and Sirius was virtually unuseable....things seem to be better now...*fingers crossed* perhaps its the FCC testing their new Howard jamming signals....lol
