Default Clarion Deck + Clarion CL1 interface

Well I have a Clarion DXZ645MP headunit. I just got the Sirius interface to go with it, the CL1. Well they are supposed to interface with the CeNet cable. To my luck, they didn't interface, and the headunit wouldn't recognize the Sirius unit. I tried 2 different Sirius antennas, and an XM antenna. Nothing. I made sure the switch under the Sirius tuner was set to CeNet mode. Should I assume the Sirius tuner is a bad one?
One thing I did learn though is that Sirius and XM antennas are interchangable.

Is there something you have to set in the menu of the radio first?

I went through the manual for the deck, and the tuner, and didn't see anything that I need to set it to. I also went through all the menu options of the deck, and reset the deck, and still nothing. I have a buddy who installs remote starts, and other car electronic stuff. I called him, and he didn't know for sure, cause he hasn't installed a Clarion system yet. The local shop here that specializes in Clarion was closed today for inventory. I tried calling Clarion but they are closed for the weekend, so I thought I would post to see if anyone might have installed a similar system. Just hasn't gone my way with this install. I bought the Sirius tuner off eBay, the seller said it was a refurb, but worked fine, so I emailed him to see what is possible. Gonna have to wait til Monday, I guess.

Well I found out what my problem was. Out of the deck there are 2 yellow leads. One has a 15A fuse, the other has a 3A fuse. The 3A fuse was blown. But the 3A fuse continues to blown when the Sirius tuner is connected. I bumped up to a 15A fuse in that holder, than it trips a fuse under my hood. So I have to goto my install guy, and help me out.

Instead of making a new thread, I am going to bump the old one.
I put the Sirius unit back into my car. I still keep blowing that 3A fuse. Anyone know if there is somewhat of a fix. I think I might just start pulling random fuses. Or I might take the 3A line, and try to power it from a different source.

if you get it working, i'd be interested to know how many characters (and lines) the head unit displays when hooked to sirius.

I have had it working. I had it working for 6 months, than took it out. Put it back into my car about a month ago, and has worked fine ever since. The stereo has one line, and like 30 characters. It's not really that impressive except for the fact that it is a clean install.
