Default Sportster 4

I have heard conflicting reports. Does the Sportster 4 have a line in on the front of the car dock (to input an iPod).

Thanks,
Steve

Not all, mine does but it seems this is stopping. To verify at point of purchase ask them to open it at the register, if it's got rubber blocking the hole try another one.

Mine had the aux input. I bought mine at Radio Shack.

BTW, it's a GREAT freaking radio.

I haven't tried the stilletto, but beyond that it appears to be the best Sirius PNP radio out there.

I guess I will have to buy it from a store then. I was going to buy it on Crutchfield but then I can't confirm that is has the line-in.

Thanks

I'm a bit confused here, my sportster 4 car cradle has the aux port in the front, and it came with the rubber plug in it. I figured the plug was there for either shipping purposes or just to have something there in case you didn't use the port. Not that I care, as I don't use an ipod, but I'm just curious.

I have to agree with netzy, this is a freakin great radio, wayyyyy better than the cheesy roady2 that I use for my XM sub.

I was a bit confued too. Does your aux-input work (if you obviously take out hte rubber plug)?

Don't know, I don't have anything to plug into it, I don't have an ipod or mp3 player. I took the rubber plug out and it looks as though the metal contacts are in the plug, so the only thing I can think of is they just didn't connect the port up internally.

I pulled my rubber plug out and it worked perfectly. I ordered mine from TSS-Radio and I specifically asked for one with a working port.
