I completely understand what you're saying but keep in mind that several years ago the Lifetime Subscription was for the life of only one radio and that was a true gamble because your radio could die in the first month and then kiss your money goodbye. SIRIUS later responded to the subscribers requests and upped it to 3 swaps for a total of 4 radios (or more if under the manufacturers warranty period) and that seems very fair to me. If you're a tech junky who goes through 3 radios a year this is not the plan for you, if you're like me and want SIRIUS well into the future this is the perfect plan.

DodgerBlues is on a distinguished road

i have the lifetime sub and glad i did. I have gone through one starmate, sirius replaced my broken unit and didnt count it against me on my lifetime. My new starmate replacement is going apenuts now and gonna get that replaced as well. Well, ive had Sirius for 1 full year since i joined the revolution and glad to see there is flexibility when radios go down. I will have Sirius forever now and glad those were $500 well spent.
