Default Sirius Plug n Play (Sportser) trying to get my XM radio car to receive sirius

Hi I'm new here.

For about 2 years Ive had Sportser Sirius Plug n Play. It worked great in my house and in my car...but there were wires all over my car and i didnt like that.

I moved and since then i get no reception whatsoever from my Sirius inside my house. I basically live in the woods in the middle of nowehere. lol

So, I also just bought a 2006 Hondad Odyssesy which had XM Radio installed. I asked for Sirius but was told that Honda doesnt deal with XM. So, I decided to give XM a chance..i liked that there were no wires all over the place. anway, i found out pretty quickly that i really disliked XM programming and Sirius programming is much superior even w/o the Stern factor. So my dilemna is 2 things. One my sportster doesnt work in my house anymore. (a guy at best buyt told me to use the new smaller and stronger attena, but i bought it and it doesnt work any better than they orifinal antenns that came with the sportser. Two, ive been told the only way to get sirius in my honda is through a plug n play, but i dont want wires all over the place again...especially the long attenda wire that runs from the dashboard through the entire car to the ouside of the trunk. lol Is there a way to install a plug n play neatly in a car so the receive is nicely moutbed on the dash and the anttena wire isnt all over the place and the ciigarette lighters arenet full of irius wires?

So, my questios are 1) is there a way to install a plug n play in a honda so that you cant see the wires?
2) what is the best sirius plug n play for a honda dash and receiving (there is not a lot of room on the dash)
3) I went to bust buy recenttly and noticed that theyve updated the sporster with a sportster replay and a sportster 3 or 4 model. Are these new sporsters compatible with the original sportster docking stations and original sportser boombox? (some look like the same size, but the newest one, i think its called sportser 4 looks a lot smaller and im not sure if its compativle)

Thanks. I used to be a happy sirius custimer but i found that i usually use siririus in the car, not at home so when I got the XM car I just thought "How diofferent can sirius and XM radio be" Little did i know I love sirius so much more. Sirius doesnt make a conversion kit for Honda...Honda wont tell me what brand of radio is factory installed in my car or the type of XM radio installed in my car...but im determined to get sirius again. Can anyone help? (BTW I dont know much about the past for the plu n play i just let the receiver hang by the middle console, and i just plugged he plug n play into the cigareete ligter and ran the antrenna wire through the entire car with the wire exposed i want to install everything the right way...can a plug n play be installed nicely so wires arent exposed everywhere? i feel like this:

tss-radio offers a bunch of different Radio Mounts that you can use to install your sportster. Check them out and see what's best for you.

You might also want to buy an SIRIUS Wired FM Modulator Relay. This will help with reducing static.

The new Sportster 4 is does not have a compatible dock with the Sportster and Sportster Replays. If you get a Sportster 4, you're going to really need the SIRIUS Wired FM Modulator Relay.

As for you're home reception, have you tried putting your antenna outside, on your roof? Now that the leaves are mostly gone from the trees, you shouldn't have any problems with a reception.

I hope some of this might help you. Good Luck...

As for the home antenna, if you would tells us what part of what state you live in we could tell you what direction you should have your antenna visible to the sattelite. When you get the direction down a small change of location can make a difference on the reception depending on what your set up is. Trees, hills et...
