Default Which new unit has the best FM transmitter?

Or do they all have low power crappy transmitters? I have an old PNP2 I could use.

Because of complaints, the FCC is keeping an eye on the power levels of Sirius units. As a result, all the units are meeting the FCC part 15 standards.. In other words, they're all crappy

Best bet is to pick up a " FM direct adapter" .. (Also known as a modulator relay).

My wife has the SIRIUS XACT Visor which has an awesome FM Transmitter.

You can get it on EBAY or here.

Better yet, if you want a Visor, WalMart is closing them out at $28.34 plus 97 cents shipping. Many stores appear to still have some in stock too.

We have one and it does have a fine FM modulator/transmitter.

If you have a CompUSA near you, and are interested in the XACT Visor, apparently CompUSA will have them for $9.99 on Black Friday, after rebate. Don't know whose rebate (e.g. CompUSA or Sirius):

Good find.

It is always interesting to see ads for the Friday after Thanksgiving.

Yes it is. Just sucks being in those crowds. Hopefully some of the deals will also be online for delivery. Many were last year. Already have my list made. But my car will be in the garage, and I will be looking for them online
