Default Which Model Starmate with Low Power FM Trans.

I presently have the Starmate Replay receiver. Is this the first Starmate that has the lower power FM transmitter?

Is it a new unit? Did you just buy it or is it used?

If it is new, then it has a weaker fm transmitter.

Another way is to just try it out. If you can hear it basically throughout your house, it's an old one. If you can barely hear it even in the same room, it's a new one.

The Starmate Replay I have was purchased in Feb this year. I can get a signal in other rooms so I must have just made the cut.

That sounds right. I bought my Starmate Replay around January, so yours in February should still be the old good one. I would hold onto that thing until it dies, I know I am. The newer models are junk in comparison.
