Default Starmate Replay Power Adapter

I just purchased the new Cable Home Distribution kit from tss-radio.com and I also got one of the spare home stands (that come in the home kit). I currently have a home kit in my office, but don't want to have to take the AC Adapter back and forth between work and home, and unfortunately tss-radio didn't have any spare's in stock. So to get to my question... Will any 12V AC adapter (that I can find laying around the house or at radio shack) work for the starmate replay or do i need to look at additional pieces of information (current, etc.)

Thanks

Hi. Put simply, Any AC adapter you have lying around that delivers between 9V and 14V, center positive (1 Amp minimum) will work provided you have the right size connector. Don't try an AC box rated at less than 1 amp or you'll fry it in less than 30 mins (I did so).

YOU WANT TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE PROPER CENTER POSITIVE CONNECTOR AND DON'T FORCE IT IN!!!
