Default PnP Sirius Compatible with IPods

I see that many of the new PnP Sirius radios and accys (boombox, docks, etc.) list "compatible with 30pin Ipods."
Does this work the other way as well?
Can I use any Ipod speaker set or clock radio with my Starmate 4?

If it has an AUX or Line in you could.

Or you can use the FM transmitter from the Starmate to the clock radio.

Default Pnp Sirius and IPods

I know about the line in/out, but I was thinking about a direct plug in onto the small 30 pin coupler that sticks out from the clock radio / speaker set.

If it's the same pinout between Ipod and Sirius, I should be able to dock an ST4 and "wake to satellite" same as I would with "wake to Ipod."

Possible? Would it harm a Sirius?

No the pen outs are different. The Sirius Soloist actually allows you to dock SIRIUS or an iPod, but it has 2 totally different connectors and you just snap off the dock tray for the Soloist which exposes the connector for the iPod and then you use the iPod docking tray, which covers the Sirius connector. When you use the Sirius docking tray it covers the iPod connector, so you can switch back and fourth if you like. But you can't use the exact same connector. They both be 30 pin, but apparently they are not the same.
