I would definitely think about getting a stiletto for a few family members if they were near a repeater. I'm afraid to get it though because I don't want to hear bitching about signal quality.

I've had my Starmate replay for almost a year and it is doing OK. I also bought a Stiletto a couple months ago so I can have one in my police car and one in my personal car and home.

actually the starmate replay is FREE!

on sale for 60. 30 mail-in to sirius, 30 to the shack. the home kit is 29.97. check your store's stock before making the trip. many are out of both and will not be getting more of the 3 series.

Seems like everyone on this forum is experiencing bad luck on the Starmate Replays. I had the ST2 for a year, and it has been flawless (after the installation of the FM modulator of course)

I was taking my Starmate Replay out and back with no problems so far. I will be leaving it in my police car now since I have a Stiletto for my other car. My DC power code must have a short now. It was working fine early yesterday then quit working last night. I bought a universal one from Radio Shack last night and it seems to be working OK.
