DAB, I think you'll be going back to JVC pretty soon...

Anthony that sure is a sweet setup. I do love these JVC head units. I am glad to see them continue to improve them. I have to admit the built in GPS Navagation is attractive.

I am rather disappointed that they did not move into the direction of Alpine though with a PNP Interface or add more features for Sat Radio, such as song/artist seek, etc.

I would agree with you. I might be different than the typical listener tho.

I listen 95% of the time to Hip-Hop Nation, Shade 45 and Hot Jamz. The other 5% is split between Playboy Radio, Sirius Left, and the Dance Music channels.

I generally have no need for Artist/Song seek. I'm also a mobile/club dj and Im on the cutting edge already... Sirius in general because of no censorship is about 2-3 weeks ahead of public radio. I'm ahead of Hot Jamz by about a week. Now that doesn't count DJ's getting early release stuff, unless the record companies released it to record pools at the same time. But many new tracks are exclusive and DAT's or Burned CD's given to friends in the industry and popular DJ's like Clinton Sparks, DJ Self, Kay Slay or DJ Envy.

So I'm out of the "Top 40", "Pop" or "Adult Contemp" loop and those would be the users looking for those types of features.

This is still not perfect and I still have to buy the Bluetooth adaptor they are going to release also in '07. But I don't have to go with a flip screen just to get Navigation and it cuts down on the chance of thief.

So I can live with doing all my Navigation selections with the buttons on the faceplate and all I really want from Sirius is Artist/Title, Sig Meter, "Mongo" and automatic setting of the HU clock...

Plus for the price, it can't be beaten! I get Divx playback which allows me to put much more content on DVDs, Navigation and superior Sirius display for under $1,000 and you can't touch another DVD/ HD Navi deck for less, unless it was used or broken...

You know you want it DAB...lol
