Default I think i just burnt out my sirius reciever...

jsut bought it yesterday and when in the middle of wiring the reciever, i think the two wires touched. Now when i wire it back up to the cig lighter it doesnt turn on, but the cig lighter does work. Is there a fuse in the sirius itself? HELP, really hope i didnt just waste 120 in 24 hours

There is a fuse in the cig lighter plug usually.

this is why you should always disconnect the car battery when doing any wiring in your car.

Like Moe said, I'd take it back and plead ignorance as to why it doesn't work.

There's a second fuse in the Sirius adapter plug itself. The end of the adapter unscrews, and there's a fuse under the spring-loaded contact.
