Anyone in my area with Sirius? I've got the STR2 with replay, and a home antenna. Late at night I have trouble getting any signal, day and evening were fine... after midnight I kinda lost signal.

Any ideas on which way to point this?

Well, I am pretty far away, but I'm pretty much due west of you (if you hit 80 and go to the end of PA that's where I am).

I have my antenna wedged into a pretty much due west facing screen/window. The base is inside propping the screen up, and the actual antenna part is outside. I am getting 2 or 3 bars at all times of the day - and most of the time it's 3. It's almost 3 AM here (two bars right now), and it's just as good at 9 AM, 2 PM, or 8 PM (normally 3 bars at these times).

Maybe I am lucky; I don't know. I have not had a reception problem pretty much since the day I stuck it out the window. I guess I would just say try to get the antenna outside facing west somehow. I hope you solve your problem!

Hey guys, a big hello from Erie! I've been here all my life and still love it, being by the lake and all, (great sunsets). I don't really have any issues with reception up here, our receiver is hardwired into the car, we don't have a home one yet.

Sports-wise, I think you know were split between Steelers, Browns, and the Bills up here, but not too many of the latter. Me I'm a Cowboys fan (be nice), and Indians, and last but not least, Lakers. I'm just glad to be a rep of NW PA.

I forgot to post on the 18th, but finally remembered to check this thread out. I live in Maryland now, but grew up in Meadville,, near Erie. I still have relatives that live in Erie.

Big Penn State fan... can't wait for Tuesday!GO PENN STATE!!!!
I never gave up on JoePa and I'm glad he and the team had such a great season.

Also big Steeler fan.... looking to be a surprise in the playoffs..... GO STEELERS!!!!

Wish I could get back to PA as my son wants to go to PSU and nonresident tuition is horrendous, but work keeps me in Maryland for now.

Not that I want to turn this into a political forum, but what do y'all think of Lynn Swann runnning for Governor of Pennsylvania? It should be real interesting to see how he does in Philly? He is running as a Republician right?

Just saw this thread today. I've lived in Delaware County all of my life now with my wife and 4 children. A big hello and Happy New Year to all our PA members!

So is Pennsylvania the only state? I got here by clicking the last post. The Sirius Backstage 50-in-50 Community link just returns me to the index and doesn't show individual topics. KY here...

Right, he's a Republican. I don't know about him yet, I really think Rendell will win it again. It seems like he's doing a good job, but I'll wait for more news about both to be sure. I don't even know if Lynn Swann has held any politcal office at all, but heck that didn't stop Schwarzenegger right?
