Every time I go to Cali, I HAVE to get a double-double. I grew up on In-n-Out and Carls' jr...

we FINALLY got a Carl's jr in Tacoma so all we need is a In-n-out and my life will be complete

Cali born and bred. Will never live anywhere else. I prefer tommy's to in & out, but in & out is a good burger. Tommy's is better.

Well, my first post might as well be here!

Howdy everyone, Silicon Valley here
Have had Sirius for about a week now. Enjoying it somewhat so far, still very surprised about alot of the repetition on the stations I listen too.

We'll see what a full month brings.

Default Belmont, CA anyone?

I am traveling to the Belmont/San Mateo area at the end of October and I am looking for stuff to do. I will be staying in Belmont (The Hyatt on Concourse Drive) and working in San Mateo.

Nor-Cal born and raised too. Living in the Bay Area. Spent a few years up in Peacepeddlers neck o the woods going to college. Beautiful area, hope to some day move back there.

No offense, but that's the funniest thing I've read in a while. I'd suggest San Jose or SF, Mountain View's not much to look at unless you want to see typical office buildings with names on the outside you might recognize. Oracle has some nice buildings in Redwood Shores but most of the rest is pretty nondescript. Apple has a nice complex in San Jose, turn left on Disk Drive...

If there is a massive earthquake that splits Cali off, I think we'll be OK, the rest of the continental US will sink and we'll have MORE BEACHES!!!

Actually, you might also include Palo Alto to that list of Silicon Valley lookyloos. I like Mountain View, there's lots of good places to eat. They have the best mexican place...also, If you ever want great produce, go to the Milk Pail.

Time to sell the house and move back to California. I'm going to miss Missouri, but I'll be happy to be living back in Cali...
