I didn't know this... Jeremy was also very helpful to me in a couple of instances and now that you mention it, I haven't' "seen" him around SBS in a while. I just assumed that a job change had taken up more of his time, but is it more than that?

I was able to use advice that he had previously given me to host my picture on photobucket thus the UB avatar is back.

I know your thoughts about Jeremy's personality are shared with many SBS'ers.

Although no one has confirmed this officially, it seems Jeremy has been bullied by Time Trax Technologies into pulling out of the Satellite radio community. Details are sketchy, but all the evidence suggests that they did not like the GiveMeSatelliteRadio application that he wrote, which competes directly with their own Time Trax Recast product (except Jeremy's app actually works without bluescreening your PC). It appears that they forced him to make his program unavailable and give up his Sirius-related web sites. No doubt he said "F it" and pulled out of the community entirely to avoid further harrassment.

For more info, read this, this and this.

Wow... this is disturbing. I don't really know who TTT is, but the situation sounds really nasty. Sure would be nice to know all sides of the story, but what I do know for sure was that Jeremy was a standup guy and he'll be missed on SBS.

Thanks for filling us in. I read the posts and that is a shame the way it turned out.

That sucks. I was wondering why my It'sOnSirius app wasn't working any longer. Too bad businesses would rather put someone down, than learn from them. So many companies could profit more if they were just willing to learn from others. Now they have a bad rep, at least from my perspective.

Well even if that is mostly true its a load of . Does anyone know any of the particulars of this situation (and are they willing/allowed to share)? It's not fair for some dumb company to force someone to quit something they're very good at. I wish there was something I (we?) could do. I miss Jeremy around the forums, things actually worked and I could actually listen to Sirius online when he was here.

We must have some strength in numbers...

I'm with you on that, but I would think that the only possible way to achieve this would be to not purchase or use TT's products. Not like that will carry much weight, but you have to start somewhere. If only they would have asked him for assistance with their software package.

The database is now updating from a radio I'm running at my office. You can see what's playing on the web at http://itson.siriusbackstage.com or by searching Song Seek at http://www.siriusbackstage.com/songseek.php . Also, hopefully all of the other software out there that depended on this data will begin working again.

Use this thread to update us if song data stops updating.

The last song in the database is at 19:26:06 ET and it's not updating any more. I've gotta get my home radio working again. It'll be down until tomorrow around 9am ET when I can restart the radio at work.

I got my SiriusXPlay to stay on my desktop rather than disappearing, however, the songs are not being displayed. :\ Is the database updating now?

It was updating and then it stopped. I'm looking into it now.
