Question Best of XM with Sirius Canada Subscription?

Will it be possible to subscribe to "Best of XM" using a Sirius Canada subscription?

i have no idea, but i would speculate that that would be a big negatory good buddy.

the reason? because sirius canada and xm canada did NOT merge and are two seperate companies, they would not be sharing content. the articles i have read has been that xm canada is against merging with sirius canada because they have a monopoly on the nhl coverage. they are also the dominant sat rad provider in canada. i don't know if that is a coincedence or a factor but there's the big reason why not.

So, mainly, as a Canadian lifetime subscriber, I'm screwed.

I should have read these forums earlier and got a US subscription. More channels, more choice, availability of high-quality Internet feed, etc. There's just no good reason to get a Canadian subscription.

For the reasons you mention Allanon, I would definitely have to agree with you. And, don't forget, even with the exchange rate, a US sub is also cheaper.

However, your post brings up an interesting question. If you have a Canadian lifetime sub and you "move" to the US, are you able to transfer your sub to the US service and receive all the benefits that US subscribers are entitled to?

Has anyone ever done this? If so, that just might be your way out.

Sirius Canada will NOT get the best of XM, nor will they offer ala carte subscriptions:

Sorry my northern friends, the terms of the US merger do not apply to you.

That's terrible, but then again that's what was really expected all along. I think it's a pretty safe bet that many of our northern friends will be moving to a southern subscription as a result.

I don't see any good reason to get a Canadian subscription. Unfortunately, I can't change my Canadian life sub to a US one.

If I ever get past my 3rd sub transfer, I'll get a US one. Until then, I'll continue to live without Hockey games on sat radio.

It was the internet feed that made me go with the US sub. There was only a $50 difference in price (excluding conversion rate).
