I have two Canadian and two U.S. subscriptions. Figured the U.S. subscriptions would time out when my pre-authorized credit card expired. Nope. They still appeared on my credit card bill. I want to cancel the U.S. subscriptions. I phoned the credit card company and they said that wasn't normal but that I couldn't just delete the payment without a cancellation certificate which I could not get from the 800-number because I kept getting shunted off to Sirius Canada. The credit card company is initiating a letter of inquiry. Sirius Canada when I explained what I was trying to do connected me to the U.S. number. Then spent a half-hour trying to negotiate with a U.S. computer phone bot. When I finally got a humanoid he turned me back to the main phone bot menu. ^&*$@#% I then called my credit card company back and told them I absolutely refuse to pay the U.S. Sirius charge. We have now upgraded the incident to the "disptue" level.

By the way, with a Canadian and a U.S. receiver, I get the Canadian Sirius channel list on the Canadian receiver and the U.S. channel list on the U.S. receiver, including 146 Sirius Left, which is a scream. I love to hear the words "Bush is a fucking asshole" on radio. ;-)

I just started to have that problem. On the last activation I switched Radios and changed from 1/4ly billing to 1 yr, well My CDN CC did not match the US addy I provided and I got bumped. I was stuck with threat of desub because I could not pay.

I phoned the US Number and told them my issue and I need to bill this to a CDN CC or I have to pull ALL my radios and Move them to a CDN sub. The tune quickly changed. They processed my CDN CC against my CDN addy, leaving the fake US Addy on the system. This will be more of an issue as tiem goes on, but thankfully the CDN service is almost identical, except for the online streaming ( I have not seen that available on CDN SIRIUS site)

I guess I have US radios, so Channels will be the same regardless, forgot about that.

My next radio came due and the same problem occured. However they do not have a problem paying for US service with Canadian Credit card, they use a zip code to allow the card to be authorized.

I've just activated using a Canadian CC.
They do ask for your billing address now which has to be US, so we'll see if anything happens.

In hindsight the easiest way to pay would be with a prepaid US gift card.

Anyone ever have an issue transferring a sub to a new radio?

Reason I ask is that I am on a lifetime U.S. sub and have ordered a Stiletto and I'm kind of worried about what might happen when I call to transfer my sub to the new radio.

The address I'm using is my grandfather's who lives in the U.S., so it's technically not a FAKE address, it's just not the address associated with my credit card.

Default Thanks!

Thanks for this great number. I can confirm it still works. Just used it tonight to confirm I can transfer my sub to my new vehicle when it comes in (I had originally planned to cancel my current truck radio, keeping my 2 PNP's, and adding another truck radio later).
